Priorities!

I always find it hilarious when people tell me, "You need to get your priorities straight"! I always think to myself, is that even possible.... It's so whack! Usually the person giving the instructions has like a ridiculous lifestyle, something you would never want to model your life after. I think everyone pretty much grows up knowing that your first priority is supposed to be "your family!" and if you grow up in a Christian fam like me, "Your Christian Community" . In any and every situation we're all taught that family, and our devotion to our Christian community is most important and most valuable. Life is short and no one ever Knows when God is going to call them to heaven, so you are supposed to make ever effort to put them first. Ok so yeah so everyone says this, but so many people don't live by it. I'm not saying that this is right or wrong, (LOL currently I stand un-opinionated until the circumstance is known), but at times the circumstances can be sooooo confusing! The bible says reach out to people, share in their growth. But it also talks about healing yourself and making sure your family's taken care of before reaching out to others....( take the plaque out of your own eye before someone else's) so like if there was a starving family that had food but very little. The family has enough for everyone in the family to have half a meal everyday, not enough to be full (which isn't exactly necessary) and not enough to build strength and proper vitamins. The whole family is surviving but they're malnourished-nourished, all of them! The family runs into another family, who's starving but not exactly in the same way they are. The second family hasn't any food at all. Is it right for the first family, to start working to feed the second, and give all they've harvested to the second family, and keep the field scraps for themselves? It's funny because what would've happened if the first family never ran into the second/ would they still be hungry people not working for themselves; probably! But once there's another family, they're willing to jump to provide for themselves.... very funny... It's funny the way Ministry works though! The line between priorities is sooo thin! Often we all want to feel like a "hero" while helping someone else, when our own lives our falling apart right in front of our eyes.... and what's the sin? mmhmm...... some things I guess just go by instinct..... The instinct everyone has.. to seriously consider what' right before making a decision... Sometimes we choose to ignore these feelings in fear of the reaction others might give. But seriously folks consider what you do and roll with your instincts because most of the time when you trust yourself and the holy spirit in you... Your "priorities" do come out prioritized... LOL so many times a day I'm like, "I Knew I should've". Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that your instincts are always correct, but if they agree with the Bible they are! So folks I've gotten so tired of having to see people do whack things..... I really don't understand it . All I'm asking is that everyone take CARE of their OWN, with God's Divine Help. all right, well that's just what's been on my mind, drop a note folks! luv ya guys & God Bless, ME!

True. You can't love others until you learn to love God and yourself. But learning to love God and yoruself is also a growing changing experience, and you interact with people during all stages of your growth: so when are we "ready" to love?

    hey sis thanks!
I guess that's the mistery question we''ll never know, until he wants us to..... but I think it definitley helps to be healthy, before trying to heal someone else!
